The Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of Manitoba is currently recruiting admissions interviewers. This year admissions interviews will take place on Saturday, April 28, 2018.
As part of the admissions process, eligible applicants will be interviewed by a faculty member, a current Master of Occupational Therapy student, and an occupational therapist from the clinical community in three, separate, one-on-one 20 minute interviews. The interview is worth 50% of each applicant’s overall score. We anticipate interviewing 84 applicants.
Experienced and first-time interviewers are encouraged to participate in one (or both) of the following interview times:
- April 28th 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- April 28th 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
New and experienced interviewers will be invited to attend a training session on Friday, April 27th, starting at approximately 2:00 p.m. (details to be confirmed) to ensure standardization of the interview. This session is highly recommended, but optional for experienced interviewers.
The Department of Occupational Therapy thanks you in advance for giving up your valuable time and engaging in this important process to select future colleagues.
Please contact Lori Muzychka at Lori.Muzychka@umanitoba.ca or (204) 789-3409 for more information or to indicate interest in participating.
As a part of the Reconciliation Action Plan for the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, we are also seeking Indigenous clinician interviewers and invite you to indicate in your email if you identify as Indigenous.
Confirmation details will be distributed via email in mid-March. Thank you for your consideration.
