The Mary Judd Research Grant
The Mary Judd Research Grant was created to encourage and contribute to the growth of research on occupational performance and occupational therapy and remains an important part of professional development for many of today’s occupational therapists.
Each year, an award of up to $1,000.00 is presented to a member of either Manitoba Society of Occupational therapists or the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists conducting research in Manitoba.
Research projects must be directly applicable to the science of occupation and/or the practice of client-centred occupational therapy, be innovative, demonstrate originality and be scientifically sound, demonstrate a multidisciplinary approach and consumer participation and be conducted in a Manitoba setting. Research projects also must not have been initiated prior to completion of the grant review process which can take up to 3 months.
The closing date for applications is November 1.
